Remembrance artwork displayed at Keighley Wetherspoon’s pub
The piece – produced by Oakworth Primary School pupils – is on show at Wetherspoon’s pub The Livery Rooms, in North Street.
“Key Stage One children at the school each created a poppy which then contributed to a large poppy and that will be on display in our window up to and including Remembrance Day,” says pub manager, Jess McGrattan.
“I think the artwork looks amazing.
“Thank you to the children for all their hard work and the school staff for taking the time to help us with this.
“Due to our location we see a high level of custom on and around Remembrance Sunday – over the years we have hosted many veterans’ breakfasts and remain the nearest venue for teas, coffees and food before and after the town’s commemoration.”
