SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)—The City of Shreveport will soon reveal the artwork that will grace three water towers across the city.
The City of Shreveport and the Shreveport Regional Arts Council will showcase the work at an event on July 30th at 3:00 pm at Artspace on Texas Street.
The three water towers across Shreveport include:
St Vincent Tank is located adjacent to Interstate 49 and is highly visible in all directions along Interstate 49, Pierremont Ave., and Hollywood Ave.
West Shreveport Tank – located adjacent to Interstate 20 and is partially visible as you enter Shreveport from Dallas.
Linwood Tank is located adjacent to Interstate 49 in South Shreveport and is visible as you enter Shreveport from Baton Rouge.
According to a city release, the Artspace event will feature the artists behind the selected designs sharing the creative processes that drove their work.
