Recently completing the first season of its anime adaptation, Solo Leveling is one of the biggest manhwa and webtoon franchises in recent years. Having taken several forms and with merchandise becoming increasingly common, fans can now score an acrylic art piece based on the popular property.
Depicting series protagonist Sung Jinwoo, the Solo Leveling crystal art board is a striking way to showcase one’s fandom (literally). Solo Leveling Fans Can Display Crystalized Art of Sung Jinwoo
Now available across multiple websites, the Solo Leveling “crystal art board” is a piece of merchandise for one particular facet of the franchise. In this case, the acrylic board stand/box contains images that cover some of the series’ many exciting action sequences. The main image is in the rightmost corner, with Sung Jinwoo (or Shun Mizushino, as he’s called in the Japanese version of the franchise) standing calmly with a small dagger. The other images show him charging into battle and slashing at enemies with his weapons. They’re also printed on the front and the back of the acrylic crystal board, giving the product a three-dimensional look.
The material of the display is 2 cm thick and has measurements of approx. 150*100*20 mm, making it sturdy and reliable. Along with the stand itself, customers also receive a cloth to clean the classy and stylish material. Although pricing varies somewhat across online retailers, it’s generally listed for pre-order at around 6,930 yen (roughly US$44). Fans looking to add something related to Solo Leveling should order theirs now, as the product will be teleporting out of its dungeon in September 2024.

Solo Leveling Has Become a Massive Success, With Season 2 Sure to Impress
Beginning as an online novel in 2016 by author Chugong, Solo Leveling was later adapted into a webtoon manhwa series. The visuals of this version were lauded by many, and it brought a new sense of life to the franchise’s epic fights. Featuring a character who’s empowered to become the ultimate Hunter after leveling up beyond his former potential, the series has several elements similar to video game-inspired isekai anime and manga. This helped lead to its success across the board, with one of the first results being a novel sequel titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok. Now, a webtoon adaptation of that series has been announced, following the success of the anime version of the first Solo Leveling.
Produced by A-1 Pictures, the Solo Leveling anime has been a massive hit for streaming platform Crunchyroll. Running from January to March 2024, the final episode included a message announcing a second season titled Arise from the Shadow. In the wake of the anime, Solo Leveling figures and collectibles have been revealed, putting the series on the same level as many of the biggest anime properties. Likewise, 2024 also saw the release of the Solo Leveling: Arise video game that coincided with the end of the anime’s first season. The Solo Leveling crystal art board is just one example of this growing renown, and similar merchandise is sure to come.
