Jujutsu Kaisen ‘Leaks’ Fool Fans With Near-Flawless Artwork of Chapter 267
With the end of Jujutsu Kaisen now only a few chapters away, Shonen Jump devotees are getting hungrier for the latest chapter leaks. One talented fan artist recently fooled the Jujutsu Kaisen fandom with faux chapter leaks that looked like they were drawn by series creator Gege Akutami.
A social media user named @/cpasDryNa on X (formerly Twitter) uploaded “leaks” of Chapter 267 of the Jujutsu Kaisen manga. However, these leaks — despite how amazingly accurate they look — weren’t legitimate scans of the popular Shonen Jump series. Instead, they were illustrations that strongly resembled Akutami’s artwork. Given the high amount of attention being paid to Jujutsu Kaisen following the surprise announcement that the manga would end in September, many fans on X were fooled by what appeared to be the real thing — especially as these leaks gave fans exactly what they’d been hoping for.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s Fake Release of New Chapter Features an 8-Year Time Skip
The various faux leaks uploaded by @/cpasDryNa amusingly stated that the series suddenly skipped eight years into the future, where Yuta Okkotsu was accompanying Yuji Itadori on his first day as a teacher. This scenario, as optimistic as it is, sounds awfully familiar to another popular Shonen Jump series that recently came to an end. Another faked illustration showed Ryomen Sukuna, the King of Curses, getting dragged to hell by his victims while proclaiming revenge on Yuji. Again, this scene takes great inspiration from a critically acclaimed action series. As fans noticed online, Sukuna’s finger pose was inspired by Edward Elric from the extremely popular Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
While the faux Chapter 267 leaks were hilariously farfetched for the most part, one accurately predicted a surprising development in the series. While the actual scene is different from the fan artist’s interpretation, the differences between the two are minimal. The official English release of Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 267 is set for Sunday, Aug. 25, 2024. Out of respect for the official English licensor and for readers wishing to avoid spoilers until release day, this shocking development will not be revealed. The good news for eager readers is that the official release date of Chapter 267 is right around the corner.
