“It’s caused plenty of intrigue and surprise, because no-one knows who the artwork belongs to” – Banksy’s Corner features colourful contributions from children, staff and volunteers

Children, staff and volunteers have been getting creative and showcasing their artwork as part of an eye-catching display at The Treehouse.

The special presentation is running throughout August and has been organised by Sandra Smith – an East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices Art Therapist.

Dubbed Banksy’s Corner, it features work produced by children and young people receiving care from the charity at its Ipswich base.

Staff and volunteers have also got involved – anonymously attaching their colourful contributions to the wall.

“It’s been great fun and a lovely way to showcase some great work,” said Sandra.

“In terms of the children’s contributions, it’s either been created during a short break here at the hospice or during an art therapy session.

“Staff and volunteers have also been keen to get involved and it’s caused plenty of intrigue and surprise, because no-one knows who the pieces belong to.”
