Dragon Ball Daima Reveals New Fully Rendered Artwork for Goku & Vegeta
The latest iteration of the Dragon Ball anime, Dragon Ball Daima — set to release this coming October — has received new fully-colored Goku and Vegeta renders via fresh promotional art for Fusion World.
The official website for the Dragon Ball Super card game Fusion World recently revealed the two new fully-shaded renders of Goku (Mini) and Vegeta (Mini) from the upcoming Dragon Ball Daima. Goku’s artwork features the character with an excited expression, holding his Power Pole as he prepares to fight. Vegeta’s expression is more indecipherable, with both attracting a range of comments on social media due to their proportions and unique depictions. The new artwork serves as the cover of the upcoming Vegeta (Mini) and Son Goku (Mini) Fusion World Starter Decks, which are believed to be dropping on Nov. 8, 2024. They come with 51 cards of 16 different types, alongside a rule manual, energy manual, five bonus cards and a promo code for the digital version. The pack will contain one Leader-type rarity card, 13 commons and two super rares. Fusion World is currently holding a promotion where players on the digital version can log into the game and receive 50 free park tickets.
Goku and Vegeta comprise one of the longest-running and best rivalries of any currently serialized manga, with resurfaced Akira Toriyama art this week depicting a Goku and Vegeta battle drawn nearly 35 years ago. Nevertheless, Daima is likely to see the pair band together against new enemies; the recent Dragon Ball Daima trailer saw the introduction of new antagonists Glorio, Masked Majin and Gomah. The story has also teased a “journey to a new world” to fix the conspiracy that turns Goku and his friends small.
