AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) – The deadline for students to submit artwork for the Every Drop Counts poster contest is later this month.
The City of Amarillo will accept entries from K-12 students until June 30.
The city says artwork for the contest should focus on water conservation. Posters should be horizontal and at least 11 x 8.5 but no larger than 17 x 11. For a list of general rules or an entry form, visit the City of Amarillo website here.
Artwork and entry forms can be submitted to any Amarillo Public Library location or the second floor of the Simms Municipal Building, 808 S. Buchanan.
Winners will be chosen from the following age groups:
- K through 2nd grade
- 3rd through 5th grade
- Middle school
- High school
The city says 13 winners will have their work featured in the 2025 Every Drop Counts Calendar. The artwork will also be recognized by the Amarillo City Council during a regular meeting.
