‘Climate craziness’: Woman tries to vandalise artwork at US gallery

Sky News host Rita Panahi looks at some “climate craziness” after a woman tried to vandalise a piece of artwork at the US National Gallery of Art.

In a video, a woman is seen sitting down next to the piece of art with red paint on her hands, having smeared it on the case.

“Thankfully, it had a protective case around it but she did her best,” Ms Panahi said.

“She’s a mum from Brooklyn and she’s headed to jail for vandalising that Edgar Degas statue.

“She’s been sentenced to 60 days in prison – enjoy that.”
