John Guy, who lives in St Helens, was born in Warrington and now teaches Art and Design at Beamont Collegiate Academy in Orford.
The 38-year-old, who is from Great Sankey, started creating artwork at a young age and now makes artwork inspired by buildings and landmarks in towns and cities.
Last year, John made a piece inspired by St Helens, which received thousands of comments on social media.
Now, John has released a piece inspired by the buildings in his hometown of Warrington.
“The aim of the illustrations is to show the towns identity and what it is that makes the town unique,” said John.
“This shows what Warrington has to offer, from the local modern and historical landmarks and attractions that make people proud of their town.”
John started creating the Warrington piece three years ago but delayed releasing the piece to focus on other work – until last Friday when the digital artwork became available for pre-order on his website.
While John has previously made digital artwork of Manchester and Liverpool, he prefers to focus on creating artwork for smaller towns.
“Everyone knows what you would get in a London picture, whereas in smaller towns sometimes people forget what’s there,” he said.
John also creates other pieces of digital artwork and take commissions if customers have particular requests.
