Walled Lake Welcomes Artwork Around Town Through DIA Inside/Out Program

Walled Lake, MI – The City of Walled Lake is pleased to announce its participation in the Detroit Institute of Arts’ 2026 Inside|Out program. This program has been bringing reproductions from the DIA’s collection to outdoor spaces in Oakland, Wayne, and Macomb counties for 17 years.
The City of Walled Lake has six pieces of art on display:
1. Walled Lake Market Place: 1499 E. West Maple Road
2. Pratt Park: 1499 E. West Maple Road
3. Walled Lake Trail Head: 840 N. Pontiac Trail
4. Hiram Sims Park: 1299 Quinif Drive
5. Mercer Beach: 310 E. Walled Lake Drive
6. Walled Lake Library: 1499 E. West Maple Road
Residents and visitors are encouraged to explore each location and enjoy the artwork.
The reproductions will be on display from now until October. Be sure to share your photos and favorite pieces with us as we celebrate an exciting year of bringing world-class art into our community through our partnership with the Detroit Institute of Arts.
