St. James Art Show in Louisville gains national recognition
Louisville’s iconic St. James Court Art Show has been ranked in the top 10 in a new national listing for its years of success in the art world.
Sunshine Artist Magazine, a publication centered around U.S. art and craft shows and festivals, recently released its 200 Best Festivals list. According to the outlet, rankings are based solely on revenue, which is the “most objective indicator of a show’s future success.”
Results are based on reported sales from 2023 and are divided into two categories, fine art and design and classic and contemporary craft. Louisville’s famous fall festival ranked third in the fine art and design category.
The St. James Court Art Show, established in 1957 and taking place annually in the city’s historic district, is slated for Oct. 4-6 this year. See below for more results.
