Fine Arts Department Celebrates Class of 2024 with Senior Signing Ceremony
The William Floyd Fine Arts Department led by Dr. Amy Mason Sckipp, coordinator of music, recently held its annual spring singing ceremony to celebrate the graduating seniors who will be pursuing music or the arts next year in college. Family members, friends and teachers recently gathered inside William Floyd High School’s Jeananne Dawson Memorial Library to celebrate this milestone! This year, eight students will pursue music in college in the areas of music business, music education, musical performance, musical theater, and music theory, while eight will be pursing architecture, fashion marketing, fine arts, graphic design and illustration. The event also featured an art exhibit courtesy of visual arts chairperson Theresa Bianco and the William Floyd High School art teachers, along with a Tri-M Music Honor Society recital performance led by advisor Mick Singh and accompanied by Donia Rivera and Berkeley Rousseau.
