Annual Fine Art Asia concludes with success
The Fine Art Asia 2024, one of the leading art fairs in Asia, officially concluded on Monday (Oct 7) following a three-day duration. The event successfully attracted distinguished international galleries to present a diverse selection of collectable fine art from both Asia and the West.
This year’s annual event showcased a range of museum-quality artworks spanning over 5,000 years of cultural history, from ancient Chinese bronzes to contemporary art. The masterpieces comprise exquisite antiques, art and design, as well as Japanese and Chinese crafts, ink art and photography.
It also coincided with major fine art auctions and drew a high-profile, sophisticated audience of dealers, collectors, curators, connoisseurs and art lovers from around the world to the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
A number of academic programs and workshops were also being held during the event, including one that invited esteemed Chinese glass artists Eveline Ko, Sun Liang and Qin Ling to have a dialogue with the audiences on the profound understanding of Western glass techniques and art, along with a keen appreciation for modern aesthetics and color in Eastern culture.
Since its inception in 2006, the fair has earned a worldwide reputation for quality and elegance.
