Vevo DSCVR Artists To Watch 2026: LaBlackie, ROA, Luz Gaggi, RNBOI

December 21, 2025 2 Mins Read

Music Business Worldwide presents the final four rising stars from Vevo’s DSCVR Artists To Watch 2026, starting with…

LaBlackie

Chiara Bonarrigo, Senior Manager, EU Label Relations: “Blending urban genres such as drill, trap, dancehall, and American rap, LaBlackie is literally bursting onto the Spanish urban scene.

“Her attitude and stage presence are outstanding, and she’s a powerful advocate for female rap. Already part of our Vevo Newcomers campaign, I’m thrilled to keep supporting LaBlackie on her path toward a breakthrough!”

LaBlackie: “The experience on set was incredible! I never thought I’d travel so far for work. I hope it helps me reach a wider international audience.”

ROA

Julie Fernandez, Director, Artist & Label Relations: “ROA, straight from Naranjito, Puerto Rico is Latin Trap and Reggaeton’s next biggest star. At only 28 years old and in the early stages of his career, he has already amassed over 105M streams globally.

“He has had numerous hits such as ETA RMX, FANTASÍA and most recently REINA. He has already collaborated with fellow superstars such as Luar La L, Omar Courtz and Jay Wheeler just to name a few. We are beyond humbled and grateful to be a part of ROA’s journey thus far and honored to have him as one of our Vevo 2026 DSCVR Artists to Watch. We can’t wait to continue to see him rise to the top in the Latin genre and space in all the years to come.”

ROA: “Thank you Vevo for believing in me and for betting on me from the very beginning. I’m grateful to be part of the Vevo Artists to Watch program.”

Luz Gaggi

Joel Severino, Senior Manager, Music Programming, Latin: “I’m truly excited for this one! Argentina has an amazing track record of producing great talent, and Luz Gaggi will not be the exception!

“With her powerful voice and genuine passion, Luz is a hidden gem waiting for the world to discover her. Her journey thus far has truly been inspiring and I can’t wait to see where her talent takes her next.”

Luz Gaggi: “I am grateful to visit this part of the world for such a beautiful project as Vevo. I am super excited to bring my music and, above all, I am filled with immense love in my heart for the welcome you have given us. Thank you always.”

RnBoi

Elliot Jaillet, Director, Global Programming: “RNBOI is redefining France’s urban sound through a bold fusion of autotuned rap and modern R&B, marked by a distinctive emotional edge. As the first signing to Aya Nakamura’s new label, he stands out as one of the most exciting new talents to watch.”

RNBOI: “I absolutely loved the shoot — thank you Vevo for the amazing experience in New York! I’m so grateful to be the only French artist among all these talents.”
