Spotify Wrapped 2025: when it comes out, what it is, how it works, and how I can see the list of most listened to artists during the year

November 20, 2025 2 Mins Read

Spotify subscribers are very close to enjoying the moment they’ve been waiting for all year. Wrapped 2025 is coming, and with it, your summary of your plays over the last 12 months. Who have you been listening to? What song have you been playing on repeat? We’ll tell you everything you need to know so you don’t miss out.

What is Spotify Wrapped and when will the 2025 edition be released?

Let’s start with the basics. Spotify Wrapped is the app’s annual summary of your entire listening history. It tracks everything you’ve listened to, both artists and songs, and presents the results in a unique and entertaining way.

Amid a backlash from artists for low payouts, users are starting to turn against the streaming giant.Brendan McDermid

Wrapped not only serves as a way to get to know yourself, but also for others to get to know you. The ability to share your results is one of the things Spotify subscribers love most. Social media is flooded with comments when it happens every year.

So, when will it arrive? Spotify doesn’t usually comment on the date until the feature is released. What we do know is that the usual release window is around the first or second week of December. Except for 2022 and 2023, which waited until November 30 and 29, respectively, the rest of the years have always been in early December.

How can you see the list of the most popular artists of the year on Spotify Wrapped 2025?

It has not been confirmed whether there will be any changes to the data provided this year. What is clear is that the most popular features among the community will remain, such as the list of the most listened to artists of the year. There you can find out which singer has occupied the most hours of your music space.

When the feature is enabled, you won’t miss it. A giant banner will appear at the top of the official app. When you click on the banner, you will be taken to the page where the data is displayed.
