Native artists using music as medicine

The All My Relatives Festival will be hosted at the Levitt July 26-27. The celebration will honor and showcase Indigenous culture, art and music.
Kelly Jackson and Stella Standingbear join “In the Moment” ahead of their musical performances.
Kelly Jackson is a tribal member of the Lac du Flambeau band. She is a singer, songwriter, philanthropist and tribal advocate.
Stella Standingbear is a Lakota hip-hop artist using her platform to amplify Indigenous issues and promote healing.
You can attend the All My Relatives Festival at the Levitt Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27. Standingbear’s performance begins Friday at 7:00 p.m. with Jackson following at 7:45 p.m.
Jackson’s presentation “Music is medicine” begins at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday.
