INSPIRING ART: Northwood artist’s work ‘hopes to inspire families to get involved in art’
A Ruislip art gallery is now hosting the work of a talented local artist.
The Cow Byre Gallery, located in Manor Farm, is currently featuring the art of Eastcote resident Elvis Hall. The exhibition has been a hit with residents, with David Simmonds CBE, MP for Ruislip, Northwood and Pinner, being one of the enthusiastic visitors.
He said: “Thank you to Eastcote resident and local artist Elvis Hall for inviting me to his solo exhibition. Through his paintings and exhibits, he hopes to inspire and encourage families to get involved in art.
“I am grateful once again to Elvis for inviting me, and I hope to see more creations in the future.”
Elvis has been a budding artist since he was eight years old, and rediscovered his love of the hobby during the COVID-19 lockdown.
Elvis said: “Since that moment, for two years, I have spent hours every day reconnecting with art and enjoying every moment of creativity. Most of my work is on canvas using acrylic medium.”
The exhibition is to be hosted permanently for the foreseeable future. To find out more about the Cow Byre Gallery, visit www.ruislipartists.co.uk
