Indy Clinton was just 15 when she landed her first social media brand deal. Now 27, she is a TikTok star – drawing over 2 million followers with candid posts about motherhood – and setting her sights higher.

Clinton, who was named by TikTok as its creator of the year in 2023, is parlaying that digital star power into being a “corporate girly”, having secured a major equity stake in private equity-backed beauty and skincare business York St Brands. The move, finalised this month, transforms her from being a brand ambassador to an investor with a seat at the table.
