Travel mug with original artwork helping support UpLift! Mural Festival

A renowned artist and a local coffee shop have collaborated to put out a limited-edition Fellow travel mug adorned with original artwork.

This travel mug allows the buyer to own a piece of Jasper’s artistic legacy and support the UpLift! Mural Festival, with $5 from every mug sold contributing toward the Jasper festival.

The original artwork was created by Fluke, a Montreal-based muralist who created one of the murals during the inaugural festival in 2022.

“It was an honour to be part of the UpLift! Mural Festival and experience the unique environment of Jasper,” Fluke said in a news release.

“The mural I created, titled ‘COLLIDE,’ embodies the wild majesty of Jasper’s wilderness and the resilient spirit of its people.”

Fluke’s mural “COLLIDE” is located on the Andromeda Coffee building at 607 Patricia Street and depicts a “captivating representation of the forces that shaped the Rocky Mountains.”

The artwork features symbolic elements such as a barrelling train, a diving eagle clutching a rainbow trout, the shimmering northern lights, a blazing sun and two rams in a clash of energy and contrast.

Andromeda Coffee continue to support Fluke’s artistic vision by featuring a new artwork named “Matilde” on the travel mug.

“We are excited to bring Fluke’s energetic art to our limited-edition mug,” said Shelley Koebel of Andromeda Coffee in a news release.

“This collaboration celebrates the spirit of Jasper and supports local art initiatives that uplift our community.”

The limited-edition travel mug featuring Fluke’s artwork is available exclusively at Andromeda Coffee in Jasper as of May 1.
