Penponds Primary School children took part in a project and unveiled it at Camborne Station on May 2.
It was organised by the Plymouth University based Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership and they drew pictures inspired by the theme of journeys.
The art was then printed onto vinyl and now decorates the westbound platform’s waiting shelter at Camborne Station.
Rebecca Catterall from the Devon and Cornwall Rail Partnership said: “The children have produced some vibrant artwork which really brightens up the station.
“I hope it inspires people to discover the fantastic places you can get to, by train.”
A similar project was executed for the eastbound platform’s shelter in collaboration with Cornwall Neighbourhood’s for Change and artist Rosi Jolly.
GWR’s station manager, Sharon Holloway, said: “This funding is a fantastic opportunity for us to invest in projects that really make a difference to our customers and communities at a local level.
“The school children have designed incredible pieces of artwork which really does provide a wonderful welcome to visitors using the station.”
The Camborne art project was funded by Great Western Railway and aims to promote the counties’ branch lines.
