Chorley’s Auctioneers in Cheltenham selling rare artwork
Chorley’s Auctioneers is offering 60 prints from Nina Chanel Abney’s Super Cool World series, each priced between £1,200 and £1,800.
Ms Abney, an acclaimed American artist known for her bold, graphic style and exploration of race, identity, and popular culture, produced the prints in collaboration with Avant Arte.
Each piece is paired with a corresponding NFT and features a bespoke stamp on the reverse.
Werner Freundel, director at Chorley’s, said: “This is an exceptionally rare opportunity to acquire a major body of work by one of the most influential artists of her generation.
“Collections of this scale and quality almost never appear on the open market, and demand for Abney’s work continues to grow internationally.
“We expect very strong interest from both established collectors and new buyers entering the digital-physical art space.”
Based in New York, Ms Abney’s prints measure 36.5cm square and are UV pigment prints sealed with matte varnish on Somerset 410gsm paper.
Her work is held in major international collections, including the Museum of Modern Art and the Whitney Museum of American Art.
The Super Cool World collection will be sold in two parts.
The first part is available online, with bidding closing on February 22, 2026 at 6pm.
The second part will feature in Chorley’s Modern Art & Design sale in June.
