One can indeed find inspiration in anything and everything, and the same was true of the Biocon founder and chairperson, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw. Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, she recalled how a message her nephew wrote to her inspired her life and the work she does now. She revealed that he wrote her the message when he was just six years old.
The founder of the biopharmaceutical giant shared a drawing by her nephew, Eric. The drawing depicted a pot filled with gold coins, accompanied by a sweet and inspiring message that touched the hearts of many on the Internet. On the pot, Eric wrote, “If I found a pot of gold, I would give it to my aunt for her company to make new medicine for very bad disease. Eric.”
Sharing the picture, Eric’s aunt proudly wrote, “This is my nephew Eric’s beautiful message at Age 6, which has inspired me to do what I do.”
