Student Artwork Showcased In Orange
Young Visions 2024, an annual exhibition of artworks by local Orange County youth opened Saturday in the Morin Gallery at The Arts Center in Orange, 129 East Main Street. Students from each of Orange County’s public schools and Grymes Memorial School are on display. “We work with the wonderful art teachers to select and showcase artworks by children in each grade level,” said Anna Pillow, Executive Director. The young artists found inspiration in nature, animals, architecture, music, fantasy, and self-portraiture among other subjects. Media included paper craft, acrylics, charcoal, and scratch board. Over 100 students, teachers, family and community members attended Saturday’s opening which included refreshments and free craft projects. Young Visions runs through May 11.
