Jersey artists to offer community activities at new studio
The charity said the pair, who have dubbed the space The Stoodio, would offer “free and accessible” community-driven art activities.
It said Ms Harris was a multidisciplinary artist, focusing on illustration and animation, with particular interests in fashion, textiles, and print.
Ms Gibault works in both 2D and 3D formats including ceramics, biro sketching, acrylic painting pens, collaging, and photography.
The charity said the space would welcome those looking to try something new.
“They are planning workshops, exhibitions, recurring clubs, art walk-ins, a small art shop, and curated art boxes,” it added.
The artists said it was an “honour” to be a part of Jersey’s art scene and added: “We’re eager to work alongside the community to demonstrate that art is for everyone, an experience that’s as much about fun and connection as it is about creativity.”
The Stoodio will open on 20 January.
