Full list of artists who will perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration revealed – Entertainment

January 17, 2025 3 Mins Read

With Donald Trump’s inauguration just around the corner. you might be wondering which artists have agreed to perform at the ceremony.

Voted for his second term back in November 2024, the US president-elect will be sworn in on 20 January, with balls and other events being held before and after the inauguration.

Normally, several artists are chosen to perform at the inauguration and Trump’s second ceremony – the first non-consecutive presidential re-inauguration since 1893 – will follow this protocol as well.

Current POTUS Joe Biden’s 2021 inauguration saw the likes of Lady Gaga and Jennifer Lopez take to the stage, with many more names performing during the televised Celebrating America event that replaced the parade and balls to comply with Covid-19 protocols.

Carrie Underwood

The ‘Before He Cheats’ singer will be performing ‘America the Beautiful’ at Trump’s inauguration, saying she’s ‘honoured’ to be a part of this ‘historic event’.

“I love our country and am honored to have been asked to sing at the Inauguration and to be a small part of this historic event,” Underwood said amid the backlash. “I am humbled to answer the call at a time when we must all come together in the spirit of unity and looking to the future.”

Alongside Underwood, opera tenor Christopher Macchio will be singing the national anthem, ‘The Star-Spangled Banner.’ Additionally, ‘God Bless the USA’ singer Lee Greenwood will also perform.

The Village People

The disco group will perform twice, at the Make America Great Again Victory Rally on 19 January and at the Liberty Ball on the evening of 20 January.

Village People member Victor Willis insisted that their performance is ‘not an endorsement’ of Trump’s policies.

“Having said that, we do support that we have a new president now and we should all wish him well until he gives us a reason not to,” Willis added in a message on their Facebook page. “Let’s give President Trump a chance, regardless of what you may have thought about him in the past.”

The message continued: “He has brought a lot of joy to the American people with his use of Y.M.C.A. And you want Village People to push all that aside and not perform at his inauguration? NEGATIVE! We’re doing the right thing by performing and keeping political views out of this. So, please stop pushing your political views onto Village People.”

Alongside the Village People, country singer Jason Aldean, known for songs like ‘Dirt Road Anthem’ and ‘Try That in a Small Town,’ plus a surprise musical guest TBA will also perform at the Liberty Ball.
