November 29, 2025 2 Mins Read

The exhibition will be held in the restored committee room of Hornsey Town Hall as part of its festive reopening on Saturday, December 6.

The Insights exhibition will feature work from 36 artists who are part of the 60-strong Crouch End Open Studios group.

Richard Peacock, printmaker and chair of Crouch End Open Studios, said: “We’re very excited for Crouch End Open Studios to be back at Hornsey Town Hall in what is our 20th anniversary year.

“We have very fond memories of our exhibitions held here in 2015 and 2019.

“It really is the heart of the Crouch End community and it is wonderful to be here to celebrate the re-opening of this much-loved building.”

The exhibition will run until Thursday, December 11 and will be open to the public from midday to 6pm each day.

Visitors can expect to see a wide range of work including paintings, drawings, sculptures, ceramics, printmaking, photography and mixed media.

Ten per cent of all sales will be donated to allpeopleallplaces.org, a charity supporting homeless people in Haringey.

Mr Peacock said: “The Committee Room, where our Insights exhibition will take place, is a beautiful space, with floor-to-ceiling windows.

“We look forward to welcoming local art-lovers over the five days.”

The Festive Grand Launch, organised by AND London, will also include live talks, arts and cultural activities, music, comedy, face-painting, food and festive drinks.

The Christmas tree lights will be switched on at 6pm, followed by a light show across the front of the building.

Sue Davidson, a trustee of Hornsey Town Hall Trust and co-chair of Crouch End Open Studios, said: “I am thrilled that Hornsey Town Hall is opening to the public again and to see the immaculate attention to detail that has gone into the renovation.

“It looks absolutely stunning.”

Entry to Hornsey Town Hall is free, though some events require tickets.
