Folk artists Talbot and Hewerdine to perform in Armathwaite
Heidi Talbot and Boo Hewerdine will take to the stage on Sunday, November 23, at Armathwaite Old School Hall, for an intimate evening of live music.
Talbot, originally from County Kildare, rose to fame with the Irish-American group Cherish the Ladies before launching her solo career.
She has earned numerous accolades, including Composer of the Year at the 2023 Scots Trad Music Awards.
Hewerdine is an acclaimed English singer-songwriter best known for the UK Top 40 hit Patience of Angels, recorded by Eddi Reader.
Gill Andrew, music organiser at Armathwaite Old School Hall, said: “Boo’s song writing is world-class—honest, melodic and built to last—and Heidi’s voice is the perfect foil.
“This will be a spellbinding night in an intimate venue.
“Tickets cost just £15 and are selling fast, so don’t miss this rare opportunity to hear two of the finest exponents of song writing and live music performance virtually on your doorstep.”
Talbot and Hewerdine have recorded and toured together since her first solo UK tour in 2005.
Tickets are available at armathwaite.org.uk/events.
