‘Grand Crew’ & ‘Perfect Harmony’ Actress & Writer Grasie Mercedes Signs with Artists First

September 11, 2025 2 Mins Read

EXCLUSIVE: Grasie Mercedes has signed with Artists First for representation.

Mercedes is a multi-hyphenate talent who is steadily building her career in front of and behind the camera. She was most recently seen as a series regular on NBC’s ensemble comedy Grand Crew from creator Phil Augusta Jackson and executive producer Dan Goor, and for her portrayal of Fay, earned her an Imagen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Comedy.

Mercedes also appeared on Peacock’s acclaimed series Poker Face in the Season 2 episode “One Last Job,” playing Officer Grace Hardy. From creator, writer, director and EP Rian Johnson, Poker Face is a mystery-of-the-week series following Natasha Lyonne’s character Charlie, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda, where she encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve at every stop.

Her additional television credits include Ryan Murphy’s hit procedural 9-1-1, which initially aired on Fox before moving to its current home on ABC. On the show, she portrayed Alicia in a recurring arc; Showtime’s Golden Globe-winning drama The Affair as Tanya; and Freeform’s Good Trouble, where she recurred as Theresa.

The native New Yorker previously served on the writing staff of NBC’s musical comedy Perfect Harmony, starring Bradley Whitford. From Lesley Wake Webster, Perfect Harmony is centered on a rural church choir that gets the director it never thought it needed when a salty, Ivy League music professor (Whitford) stumbles through their door.

Before transitioning full-time into the entertainment industry, Mercedes spent nearly a decade as a fashion stylist and blogger. During that time, she collaborated with major brands including Tiffany & Co., Adidas, Urban Outfitters, and David Yurman.
