Music fans have had an incredible 2025 so far. Whether it has been the Oasis Reunion Tour that has been gripping the globe, Glastonbury Festival, or the laundry list of new releases from some of the world’s biggest artists — who can forget Justin Bieber’s surprise studio album, Swag, that hit the airwaves in July?

Then there’s the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Gracie Abrams, Chappell Roan, and so many more who seem to have catapulted themselves to superstardom over the course of this calendar year. As such, so many of us have been spending a good chunk of time in the car or out on a jog listening to these magical voices, counting the days down to when we can get embarrassed by the annual Spotify Wrapped.

Towards the turn of the year, the music streaming giant releases a recap of users’ listening habits over the last 12 months or so. Divulging dirty details like your total time spent listening to music, as well as who you’re most listened to artists and songs are.

It really has become a cultural phenomenon, with users posting their recaps on social media—or not if you’re slightly irked by what you’ve been up to. Don’t worry, we all have ‘rainfall sounds’ somewhere, and if you don’t, don’t judge us, it helps us sleep at night.

Anyway, the only negative about Spotify Wrapped is the fact it is only released once a year. Meaning we have to wait way too long to gain a clearer understanding of what we’ve been shout singing while stuck in traffic, or using to light a fire in our bellies as we get fit in the gym.

But that doesn’t have to be the case whatsoever. It turns out you can keep regularly updated on your listening habits in the push of a button—so basically, it’s like Spotify Wrapped all year round. The Mirror has everything you need to know.

What is it

Enter Stats for Spotify. A lesser-known website that helps track your Spotify activity and arguably provides more data than its counterpart.

If you have any concerns over its safety, I can attest to never having a single problem using it, and I have been doing so for a good number of years now. It’s incredibly useful to see what is dominating my music queue, and to be honest, a lot of the time I just want to check if Olivia Rodrigo is still my number one artist or not.

Back on topic, Stats for Spotify provides you with a ranking list of your top artists, songs, genres and even a list of the songs you played recently—which is great if you ever forget a new song that randomly came up on Shuffle and wish to add it to your playlist.

To boot, it can help create a personal playlist filled with songs compiled from your charts. Metrics available are from the last four weeks, last six months and the past year.

It really is incredibly useful and oddly simple to use. Want to find out more? See below.

Please note, signing up for the website gives it access to your Spotify account, even if only temporarily. Should you change your mind, access can be removed via settings on the Spotify app.
