Over 50 artists on the line-up for Middlewich Live 2025

August 19, 2025 2 Mins Read

The all-day, multi-venue music marathon is back for a second time on Saturday, August 30.

Martin Moseley, the landlord of the Kings Lock, and a co-founder of the festival, said there will be performances at his pub and 10 other pubs.

The performances and the summer street market on Wheelock Street will be free for all to attend in what is a fundraiser for St Luke’s Hospice.

Mr Moseley said: “This is the second year and it is a bit bigger than we expected.

“The first year we did around £9,000 in the end which was more than we expected.

“The council are giving us the bull ring for the afternoon so it is a bit more community-based this time.

“A few of the community spaces are getting involved and a few of the clubs are getting involved too.”

Originally from Wirral, Ms Moseley is also a co-founder of West Kirby Live, a fixture in the calendar which is a fundraiser for other charities.

He said a big thank you to all of the bands who have helped him by giving up their time for worthy causes over the years.

Mr Moseley said: “St Luke’s is a local charity and everyone knows them and knows what they do so it is a no brainer.

“If we raised as much as we raised last year I would be more than happy because it was more than we were expecting.”

Over 50 artists are on the line-up across almost a dozen pubs.

An announcement on all of the stage times is due ‘very soon’.
