The Elephant Sessions are not performing at Belladrum this year, however, they are enjoying the music tonight.

The band has previously performed at the Tartan Heart with their music which combines the very best of trad, funk and electronica resulting in a new and exciting sound.

We asked band members Alasdair and Calum who they are going to see tonight (before heading to Sidmouth for their own gig).

Calum said: “We’re going to catch The East Pointers, and then hopefully Natasha Bedingfield and some of Paul Heaton!

They also shared their advice for any artists taking to the stage for the first time or moving up to a bigger stage.

Alasdair said: “I think the biggest piece of advice is to really appreciate it.

“You’ve got to enjoy what you’re playing, enjoy the music you’re making, enjoy the people you’re with and that means you’ll enjoy the gig.

“And if you’re enjoying it, the crowd will enjoy it.

“If you’re having a terrible time up there, they can usually tell. They’ll see that. Enjoy everything about what you’re doing, and you’ll enjoy the gig more.”
