Tipton singer encourages emerging artists to follow dreams at festival

A singer has encouraged emerging artists to never give up on their dreams, after performing at a Birmingham festival.

Czafari, also known as Czarena Brown, started writing music about nine years ago so she could share her love for storytelling with the world.

The 26-year-old from Tipton performed at Mostly Jazz, Funk and Soul Festival in July, which was a milestone she “couldn’t believe” after DJing at the event in 2021.

“I remember soaking up the vibes four years ago and thinking, ‘I need to be on one of those stages’,” she said.
