Bollywood Star Slams Indian Politicians Who Banned Pakistani Artists

MUMBAI: Bollywood Star Rajeev voiced strong opposition against the Indian government’s ban on Pakistani actors working in the country. He expressed these remarks during in a recent interview on a TV channel.

Bollywood star says it is completely unfair that Indian politicians are pursuing a narrative to advocate a ban on Pakistani actors in Bollywood. Rajeev stated that the politicians have no right to ban artists. He termed it a wrong practice and blamed the Indian politicians for creating mistrust between the people of the two countries.

He added that the Pakistani government is sending artists to India. He lauded Pakistani artists and said that Pakistani has always been sending a lot of love towards them.

Rajeev Khandelwal is known for portraying a wide range of characters in films, TV shows, and web shows. He is known for his work in popular Hindi television shows like Sacch Ka Saamna and Kahiin To Hoga. He made his debut with Aamir (2008) and later appeared in films like Shaitan (2011) and Table No 21 (2013). His Disney+ Hotstar show Showtime has been recently renewed for the second season.
