“Summer and Coolness” is the theme of the exhibition at the Goto Museum, featuring approximately 50 exquisite items selected from its collection including paintings, calligraphy, ceramics, and ancient mirrors (with some items subject to change during the exhibition period). The exhibition showcases scenes of summer depicted in ancient writings, cooling landscapes in Japanese paintings, elegant ink traces of Zen monks, as well as porcelain and blue-and-white ceramics evoking a sense of coolness. Additionally, the museum’s collection of Japanese ceramics and porcelain will be simultaneously displayed as a special feature exhibition.
