Art focus: Visual arts.
Memorable fine arts achievement: Getting a Tim Burton inspired portrait displayed at the Crossing Arts Alliance in sixth grade.
Adviser nomination: “Brooke is not only a fabulous artist, but a fabulous human being!” adviser Amanda Toft said. “She was always working in class and asked questions when she wanted another opinion. She was always helping others that were struggling and then continued to work outside of class to get her work how she wanted, not just ‘good enough.’ Brooke is going to do amazing things here at BHS!”
What drew you to visual arts? I love to draw, paint and color and wanted to be able to do more art classes building off of this one in following years.
Where do you get inspiration for your work? From many of my grandma’s drawings and paintings.
What’s your favorite kind of piece to make? Acrylic landscapes.
Which project are you most proud of? My scratchboard from my intro to visual arts class.
Dream job: Dentist.
