Erin Andrews Texted Taylor Swift About Life of a Showgirl Artwork
Erin Andrews was just as surprised by Taylor Swift’s sexy Life of a Showgirl album artwork — and did not hesitate to tell the pop star how hot she looks.
“Oh, my God!” Andrews, 47, recalled during the Thursday, August 21, episode of her and Charissa Thompson’s “Calm Down” podcast of her reaction to seeing Swift’s saucy cover artwork. “We texted her and were like, ‘Good morning!’ Like, body ody!”
Thompson, 43, joked, “Parentheses ‘heads to gym,’” was her inner thought after seeing the scantily clad photos of Swift, 35.
She noted that Swift could pull off the showgirl costumes, saying the Grammy winner was “looking like a million bucks, sister. $1 million.” Andrews agreed, adding, “She looked great.”
Thompson revealed she “can’t wait” to hear Life of a Showgirl, which drops on Friday, October 3. “When [Taylor] was announcing what the names of all the songs were, I’m like, ‘Oh these are great,’” she gushed.
Andrews and Thompson — who are friends with both Swift and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce — weighed in on Swift’s album art shortly after the first of many sexy covers was unveiled on August 13.

The first album covers for the upcoming record featured Swift lying in a bath wearing bedazzled lingerie. Among the first photos released last week, Swift posed in a barely-there showgirl costume made almost entirely of diamonds with a matching headpiece.
“For the photos, I love the photography so much,” Swift said during the August 13 episode of the “New Heights” podcast. “The photos are done by [Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot] who are two of my favorite photographers.”
The singer explained of the original cover art, “This represents the end of my night. When I’m on tour, I have the same day every single day. My day ends with me in a bathtub. Not usually in a bedazzled dress, but we tried to keep it decent.”
Swift told her fans that she wanted to “glamorize” the “different aspects” of how her Eras Tour felt from her perspective, which is why some of the shots show Swift lying on chairs used in the show and backstage in an over-the-top dressing room.

“That’s how it felt to be at the end of the night when all of this had gone down,” she added. “You won’t be able to get to bed till 4 in the morning after this. But you did it tonight.”
Swift sent fans into another frenzy on Monday, August 18, when she unveiled the cover art for her “Shiny Bug Vinyl Collection,” in which she wore fishnet stockings, a purple corset and matching bejeweled gloves while pressing against a wall.
The “Baby, That’s Show Business Vinyl Collection” photos are even sexier, with Swift in a full showgirl costume of a bejeweled bra and underwear set.
While Andrews and Thompson are just like Us and have to wait to see what images Swift will drop next, they are part of her inner NFL-loving squad.
Kelce, 35, confirmed his and Swift’s friendship with the ladies when he posted an offseason photo dump last month. One snow-filled photo featured Thompson and her boyfriend, Steven Cundari, and Andrews with her husband, Jarret Stoll.

“I will say this. She’s everything that I’d ever hoped and dreamed that she could have been and more,” Thompson said during the Tuesday, July 29, episode of their “Calm Down” podcast. “For those of you that have listened to this podcast for the five years we’ve had it, you know our great affinity for Taylor — and this was pre-Travis. We obviously went on this podcast and advocated for her to give him a chance. That clearly worked out, and they are so happy and adorable and all things.”
Andrews and Thompson added that they were “elated” when they were able to join the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Swift for the winter vacation.
“I’ll echo it. She’s a 20 out of 20. She just is,” Andrews said of Swift. “She is so much fun. And I will say this, our group — the six of us — we have some, wow, a time. A good, good group.”
