Bicester North Station overbridge decorated with community artwork
New artwork has been unveiled at Bicester North Station’s overbridge as part of a project delivered by Oxfordshire Community Rail Partnership (OxCRP) and funded by Chiltern Railways’ Community Investment Fund.
The project “Tracks of Our Lives” highlights personal memories of those who use the station in a colourful illustration.
The stories were collected from residents and passengers from the local area and illustrated by Francesca Esme Morris.

The reveal took place earlier this week with Francesca and poet Jonny Fluffypunk in attendance, with a live poetry reading from the collection.
“The new artwork on Bicester North’s overbridge is a wonderful example of the community coming together to enhance their local area.
“The artwork is vibrant, colourful and conveys delightful rail memories from residents of Bicester. We’re proud to fund projects like this through our Community Investment Fund, supporting social and cultural initiatives across our network.”
