The relationship between Pakistani and Indian artists has been historically complex, reflecting the broader political tensions between the two countries. Despite occasional strains in diplomatic relations, cultural exchanges between Pakistan and India have been ongoing, with artists playing a significant role in bridging the divide.

Periodically, there have been calls for bans or restrictions on Pakistani artists working in India and vice versa, often fueled by nationalist sentiments and security concerns.

Despite these challenges, many artists from both countries have continued to collaborate and engage with each other’s work.
