Milbank Concrete Products supports TMAC martial artists

December 2, 2025 One Min Read

Essex-based Milbank Concrete Products has renewed its sponsorship of The Martial Arts Centre (TMAC) in Braintree, supporting young athletes as they compete nationally and internationally.

Lee Cowen, managing director at Milbank Concrete Products, said: “We’re incredibly proud to support TMAC and the achievements of these remarkable young athletes.

“Their dedication, discipline and success represent everything positive about community sport.

“It’s a privilege to help them access the opportunities they deserve.”

The centre has celebrated a standout year, with several students earning honours at the England, British and European championships.

Among the top achievers is Abbie Sutton, a two-time England karate champion who placed in the top six in Europe for kumite and took fourth in kata.

Dominic Karsai and Bailey Mutlow won European titles in WUMA kickboxing, and four athletes have been selected to represent Team GB at the WUMA World Championships in Switzerland next year.

Milbank’s sponsorship helps cover competition entry fees, travel and accommodation, easing financial barriers for families and enabling young athletes to compete internationally.

The sponsorship also supports four WUMA British champions.
