Here’s how your favourite artists and actors dressed for Halloween 2025

November 3, 2025 3 Mins Read

Artists and actors unveiled their costumes for Halloween over the weekend – here’s what your favourite stars dressed up as.

Each year, famous faces showcase their looks at events and on social media, and among the highlights this year were the likes of Demi Lovato, JADE, Teyana Taylor and Amelia Dimoldenberg, among others.

Lovato recreated her famous ‘Poot Lovato’ meme, which went viral a decade ago when fans theorised that the singer had a secret twin sister that was kept locked in a basement. Lovato joked that she “thought i’d let pootvato out” on Instagram.

JADE dressed as the character of Greta from Gremlins, sharing the look on Instagram, while Taylor went for a meta reference by dressing up as her One Battle After Another character Perfidia Beverly Hills, complete with pregnant belly and plaid shirt.

Dimoldenberg, who is well known for presenting Chicken Shop Date, referenced the Lily Allen and David Harbour divorce drama amid the former’s new album ‘West End Girl’, appearing at an event dressed as Harbour’s Stranger Things character Hopper while holding up a phone with ‘Pussy Palace’ playing. Allen herself also referenced her song ‘Madeline’ by dressing up as children’s character Madeleine.

Meanwhile, actress Keke Palmer referenced another famous star – Snoop Dogg – with her look, dressing up as the rapper and posting a lip syncing video on Instagram.

Lizzo dressed as a mozzarella stick for her costume, while Macaulay Culkin opted for a toilet costume for his look this year.

Janelle Monáe, who is known for going all-out at Halloween, dressed up as the Cat in the Hat alongside a few vampire looks.

Sabrina Carpenter went for a range of looks while performing at Madison Square Garden, including Wonder Woman, Barbie and Fred Flintstone.

Megan Thee Stallion opted to go as Choso from Jujutsu Kaisen, also sharing her look on her Instagram page.

One star that has caused some controversy with their look this year is actress Julia Fox, who dressed as Jackie Kennedy in the aftermath of husband and US president John F. Kennedy’s assassination in 1963, wearing a costume depicting the pink outfit stained with blood that the former US first lady was in at the time.

Kennedy’s grandson Jack Schlossberg criticised Fox, writing on X: “Julia Fox glorifying political violence is disgusting, desperate and dangerous. I’m sure her late grandmother would agree.”

However, the Uncut Gems star has defended the look, writing on Instagram: “I’m dressed as Jackie Kennedy in the pink suit. Not as a costume, but as a statement.

“When her husband was assassinated, she refused to change out of her blood-stained clothes, saying, ‘I want them to see what they’ve done.’ The image of the delicate pink suit splattered with blood is one of the most haunting juxtapositions in modern history. Beauty and horror. Poise and devastation.

“Her decision not to change clothes, even after being encouraged to, was an act of extraordinary bravery. It was performance, protest, and mourning all at once. A woman weaponizing image and grace to expose brutality. It’s about trauma, power, and how femininity itself is a form of resistance. Long live Jackie O,” she added.
