Jujutsu Kaisen Reveals New Anime Artwork & Unique Foods at Official Cafe
Last year, the highly-anticipated finale of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 finally hit the airwaves. Now, as summer approaches, the franchise is celebrating with a new limited-time café experience that features a delicious new menu, along with never-before-seen character artwork drawn by MAPPA and Jujutsu Kaisen Season 2 animator Shoichi.
Per PR Times, Jujutsu Kaisen‘s 2024 “Kaitama Tamaori” café will open its doors to the public starting June 20. The three pop-up shops, which will be located in Japan’s Osaka, Tokyo and Nagoya regions, will offer a wide variety of unique menu items inspired by the world and characters of MAPPA’s hit shonen anime. Additionally, the interior will be decked out with images of the iconic JJK crew, with particular focus given to the stars of Season 2’s “Hidden Inventory”/”Premature Death” story arcs. The café’s official website recently unveiled a special promotional image that features the fan-favorite Satoru Gojo alongside Suguru Geto, Nobara Kugisaki and several other major Jujutsu Kaisen characters. Readers can check out this and all café food and drink images below.

Jujutsu Kaisen’s Kaitama Tamaori Café Is Heavily Themed Around Gojo & Geto
Anime cafés are incredibly popular in Japan and generally feature an array of creative menu items that invoke the spirit and aesthetic of their respective franchises; the Kaitama Tamaori café is no exception. In this case, each character has a signature dish that is directly inspired by their personality, their abilities or both. For example, Suguru Geto’s “Cursed Spirit Ball Galette” features a citrus-flavored jelly ball that represents his “Cursed Spirit Manipulation” technique. Similarly, Toji Fushiguro’s “Stored Cursed Spirit Pasta” features a plate of blue and purple bolognese. Satoru Gojo‘s “Heavenly and Earthly Self-Awakening” pancake plate — a stack of blueberry-flavored pancakes set beneath a yellow cotton candy “sky” — is a major highlight of the café’s dessert selection.
The creative theming continues on the café’s beverage menu. Notably, the vast majority of these items are dedicated solely to Gojo and Geto. The “Strongest Two Soda” — a light cider topped with mango pudding and ramune jelly — pays tribute to the pair’s remarkable fighting abilities. This drink is meant to be paired with the “Two Strongest Sundae,” a mug filled with mango and blue sorbet that represents Gojo and Geto’s respective character colors. Meanwhile, the “Youth Sky Drink” — a milk-flavored ramune smoothie topped with fluffy whipped cream “clouds” — symbolizes Gojo and Geto’s time at Tokyo Metropolitan Technical College. There is also a cola float dedicated to Gojo and Geto’s college classmates, Nanami Kento and Haibara Yuu. Individual item prices range from 990 yen (US$6.30) to 1,990 yen (US$12.67).
